We’re just back from an amazing trip to Beijing, participating at the Beijing International Film Festival, by invitation from the Chinese government.
Check out some nice photos from our booth!

Coming Film Festivals: Beijing and Cannes

We are continuously on the road between shows and events, and here’s a quick update on the 2 coming festivals we are going to attend this Spring. We will start with the Beijing International Film Festival, kicking off on April 24th until 26th. Craze will participate in the Beijing Film Market and will showcase some new apps and channels on Smart TV’s. Find us at Booth C19 at the Copyright Transaction Area.

And right after, From May 11 – 23, we are off for the world’s biggest Films celebration – the Cannes Film Festival. More updates including stand details and other special announcements will be posted soon.

Craze at Midem 2011

Midem 2011 ended last week – and it was a fantastic show for us. Aside from presenting our new Yahoo TV channel and coming VOD network, we met many great content owners and producers, and hope to announce exciting new deals soon.

As with every MIDEM, here are a few pics from our famously known “flying circus” booth, showing a bit of our digital extravaganza:

Craze Movies scores 4.3M views on November 2010

Yep, another record in views for full-length movies over the CrazeTV network – 4.3M on Nov 2010.

We’ve put lots of work in the last months, in packaging our movies catalog into specific genre channels and distributing it to targeted channels – and seems like the results are starting to show.

And this time it’s even much more impressive, as it’s a 1.1M increase from our previous record of 3.2M, back in September.

We’ll shortly post some screenshots of our new channels and update on new movies that have just been acquired – stay tunes for more exciting news!

Thanks again for all the comments and great feedback from our viewers and clients – we listen to your suggestions and remarks and definitely going to implement some of them.

CrazeTV Movies now live on Vizio Internet TV

CrazeTV Movies Widget on VIZIO Internet TV

The past week has been extra-busy, as usual. We’ve been attending the Streaming Media West show and right after

straight to the AFM in LA (more on that in the next post).

But first, we’re thrilled to announce that our CrazeTV Movies widget/app for Yahoo Connected TV is now live on the VIZIO app gallery! What it means is that VIZIO Internet TV owners can install the app with a few button clicks and instantly enjoy a quality selection of full-length movies for free.

We are going to enhance our movies selection in the next weeks, starting with a fantastic catalog of fascinating Music Documentaries, that is being added today.

What is Yahoo Connected TV? On the surface, it’s an on-board TV content apps service from Yahoo, similar in concept to Google TV & Boxee. The big difference is that Yahoo CTV is shipped built-in with Wi-fi TV’s from VIZIO, SONY, SAMSUNG & LG. There’s no need to get a set-top box like in Google TV, Apple TV or Boxee. It’s all inside from the moment you turn the TV on.

This is why Yahoo Connected TV is considered as a  strong player in the evolving “Interactive TV Apps” battle that’s becoming heated with the launch of Google TV, Boxee, Roku and Microsoft Media center.

The widget was developed together with Widget Realm.

Back from Cannes, soon off to LA for UK Sync Mission

Wow – Cannes 2010! What a tremendous experience that was. We simply had an awesome time at the festival and during the Marche du Film, where we exhibited our exclusive digital extravaganza – the unique solution we provide for digital distribution & monetization. Our stand featured a host of devices – iPhone, PSP, Adroid & other Mobile Phone – all playing full-length films to emphasize the opportunity in mobile distribution. On the business side, we will shortly update with some exciting news.

We thank to all the cool and interesting people we met and hanged out with – feel free to keep in touch with us!

Next destination for the Craze Gang, is the BPI UK Music Sync Mission to USA – a prestigious delegation of the British Music Industry to the biggest Film and Video Game studios in the US. Joining a selected group of UK music labels, we will showcase our fantastic sync music catalogue, which includes titles from giants such as Leona Lewis, Rev Run, Cold Cut, as well as new emerging UK artists.

With a fully packed schedule of meetings, we are looking forward to this exciting trip, in which we will also demo our Digital Film distribution solutions.

Gearing up for Cannes 2010

This weekend we were working hectically to finalise some of the coolest demos we are going to show at Cannes Film Festival 2010. Our “Digital Extravaganza” showcase of gadgets, apps and monetization models has been roaming with us for the past 4 years to many shows and events, but this year it’s going to be the first time it will be presented at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

Following our successful experience at the Berlinale 2010 and MipTV, we are looking forward to meet with studios, sales agents, directors, producers and buyers to elaborate and explain about the potential and opportunity in the digital world for the film industry. The mini-workshop on “Going Digital” which we’ve held in Berlin has now been extended and includes new charts and figures.

Interested to hear more? Then just get in touch with us, or drop us a visit at stand 24.09, Floor 01.
