CRAZE PRODUCTIONS OF LONDON SIGNS REV RUN TO WORLDWIDE DEAL

Run DMC legend Joey Simmons professionally known as "Rev Run" (of "Run DMC") has signed a worldwide recording deal with independent Craze Productions Ltd (www.crazedigital.com).
As "Run's House" (Executive Producers are Sean Coombs and Russell Simmons) enters it's 4th successful season on MTV (www.mtv.com), Craze Productions fought off stiff competition to seek the signature of Rev Run.
Sam Kleinman the CEO of Craze Productions declared: "this is a landmark deal for Craze Productions, which will put our company at forefront of multi facetted marketing and promotion in Hip Hop".
Kleinman continues: "Never before has a major artist of Rev Run's caliber signed with a digital independent, this is a totally unique deal and a first of it's kind which will lead other major artists to sign direct with digital record companies thus bypassing the major recording companies".
Craze, although a digital music label, will distribute the record in stores as well, worldwide.
Rev Run declared "I am excited about this new album and venture with Craze Productions"; He further added "The reason why I signed with Craze Productions was the totally radical manner in which they view the current global market potential for Hip Hop".
"Rev Run is a very spiritual person felt the right vibes with Craze Productions and our absolute dedication and enthusiasm." Stated Kleinman post the historical signing in New York.
Run's business interests are not solely limited to music industry and the huge success of his "Run Athletic" branded sneaker company (in partnership with his brother Russell Simmons co- founder of Def Jam) will present many potential digital marketing synergies along with the music.
Craze Productions which has an extensive digital back catalogue of Hip Hop was principally working on Music Web and Mobile downloads and ringtones.
However, the signing of Rev Run will see the company venture into new horizons with traditional release of compact disc and utilizing never seen before marketing channels for sale, such as the Interactive TV channel at SKY in the UK (part of BSYKB), which enables anyone to buy the music via his remote control, or the new P2P Hip Hop TV channel and many other digital avenues never utilized before. The forthcoming Rev Run album is currently being recorded in New York and set for release in the first quarter of 2008. The album is expected to include some very distinguished Hip Hop featured guest artists.
Just prior to the MTV recording of the 5th season of "Run's House" Run will embark on a worldwide tour and promotion campaign to support the Craze release. Rev Run is joining with Kid Rock (who will also collaborate on the album) on selected tour dates January-March 2008 (as reported on USA Today).
